Hi Alessandro,
You can find T@B XL exterior photo from our previous “Caravan Show 2008, Helsinki” article, http://caravanuutiset.com/wpe/?p=210
Why is the T@B L not sold in the US? Or is it?
I think it’s not sold in US. One reason could be that it was designed for European market and it might need some modifications to pass the US legislation.
Please provide more information about the sale of the T@B-L in the states. I have my heart set on this model and I can’t get any information about it. For example, what are the modifications needed and has anyone successfully imported it?
Additionally, I believe it has a wet bath but it doesn’t look like it from the pictures. Is there a forum of T@B owners in Europe?
The TAB-XL has been discontinued. The T@B 320 and T@B-L are still available – http://www.tabcaravan.com
Thank you Nicholas for the information. T@B seems to be focusing on compact to mid-size category. T@B offering includes currently the original small T@B as standard and off-road variants, and T@B L. Details and some photos are available at their German site http://www.tabme.de
Hi Amy,
I do not know any details what modifications are needed when importing from Europe to US. There are some differences in regulations concerning at least brakes, outer dimensions, and gas system. I guess the dimensions are not a problem with T@B. I think the L model has a shower. It seems like the faucet is attached to a flexible hose and it could be lifted up.
You can search your nearest dealer using tab-rv.com site http://www.tab-rv.com/
Have you tried this T@B forum? http://www.cartrans.co.uk/tabforum/
Please, post updates how your T@B purchase goes forward.
Love it! Want it!
I live in Herts Uk, where can I get hold of one and what’s the avg lead time?
If it’s a dealership, is part ex available for a 25′ touring caravan?
Many thanks
how to get a T@b 320 RS Offroad to US?? California??
Jennifer – the regular T@B model is readily avaailable in the US in both new and used varieties. There are a number of trailers in CA and these come up for sale regularly. The offroad model was never made in the US and would be very expensive to import and modify. I have already looked into the costs and they are very great. Once the trailer was here it would require more work to run on our 115 volt power. Vist the T@B group on Yahoo or Facebook for more owner info. If you are stuck on needing an offroad style unit the RPod is made that way but it is not as stylish looking a unit. Richard
Thank you Richard for the great information!
