Bürstner history goes back to the 1958 when the company manufactured their first caravan as a make-to-order product. The company has grown significantly since then. Hymer AG took over the company in 1998.
The current range of Bürstner motorhomes is very wide. There are 49 different models to choose from.

Overcabs

Argos has three overcab layouts. This is clearly less than previous years. All three models feature a double floor and a large garage. Argos seems to be a capable motorhome for families to take on active winter holidays. A 640-2 G has a length of 7,3 meters and there are 7 berths. Bunk beds are located in the rear. The A 650-2 G model offers a double bed and an L-shaped kitchen. There are 6 berths in total. The largest in the Argos range is A 747-2 G with a length of 8,86 meters. This large three axle motorhome provides spacious shower and toilet facilities. The first version of the 747-2 was introduced into the market in 1998 and it has been mentioned as one major milestone in Bürstner’s production.

The width of the Travel Vans is 218 cm. The double bed model T 571 G has a length of 616 cm and the single bed model T 620 G measures 660 cm.

Nexxo is the most popular low profile in the Bürstner range. It has won the motorhome of the year title in several countries and in many years. There are six different layouts. The new member of the Nexxo family is a T 720 with single beds, dinette seating area with side bench, L-shaped kitchen and a large toilet and shower area. The shower and toilet area takes almost the whole width of the motorhome and its located at the back. The overall length of the T 720 is 744 cm.

Ixeo class provides a sleeping arrangement with a bed over the dining area. This fold-down bed solution is a current trend in low profiles and it has decreased the amount of overcabs in the motorhome range. There are some country specific regulations that may prevent selling certain Ixeo models in some European countries. For example some Ixeo models do not fulfill the minimum interior height requirement in Finland.

The Ixeo class has been divided into three ranges: Ixeo, Ixeo time, and Ixeo plus. The Ixeo range has 5 layouts and all of them are quite spacious. The motorhome lengths vary from 669 cm to 739 cm. Ixeo is targeted for couples, but there are still 4 berths. Ixeo is the motorhome that started the fold-down bed trend in low profiles.

Ixeo time is a more affordable and more compact version of the Ixeo. There are 5 layout and the smallest model is just under 6 meters in length. All the models provide still 4 berths and the IT 650 model offers even 6 berths.

Ixeo plus adds luxury on top of the standard Ixeo models. There’s electrical control for the fold-down bed, indirect lighting, allow wheels, and top class finish overall. There are four layouts and 4 berths in Ixeo plus range.

There are crosswise and lengthwise double bed options, queens bed, single beds and bunk beds. All the layouts offer lots of room, since the lengths vary from 685 to 749 cm. Viseo uses Fiat wide-track rear axle for extra stability on the road.

Aviano resembles closely Viseo. Actually it looks like a perfect copy of Viseo if you don’t know the differencies in details. Exterior and interior of Aviano has been refreshed. There are six layouts that offer basically all sleeping options except bunk beds. Aviano uses AL-KO low-frame chassis with wide-track rear axle. There’s an Air-Plus system meaning that an air can flow behind the cupboards. This improves heat distribution.

Elegance sits at the top of the price range and it provides luxury feel throughout all the 8 layouts. Furniture and cabinets have dark wood finish and the overall style brings sailing boats into my mind. 4 layouts have double floors. There are doors for a driver and a passenger. Things like reverse camera, alloy wheels, electronic fold-down bed, and indirect lighting concept are standard.
