An old caravan can get a new life with a little fixing and changing the interior fabrics. A good example of this is the old beaty shown in the photos below. Carado production was started in December 2006. More than 2000 Carados have been produced by the end of August 2008. One third has been caravans and two thirds motor homes. The German Caravaning site has published a five minute video about ESP systems for caravans. Alko has an ATC and BPW has an IDC system. Both systems have intelligent electronic systems that actuates the caravan breaks to stabilize the snake behaviour. The video shows very wild maneuvers and slides with caravans. Link to the video. BPW has launched Intelligent Drive Control (iDC) system for caravans that prevents snaking. It can be retrofitted and it adds up 6 kg of weight
